JF Lanvers
Born and raised in the Alps, skiing has always been my main focus in life. After moving to America in 1977, I’ve made Park City and Utah my home for the last 24 years. I didn’t make this choice randomly, I researched it thoroughly and without outside pressure. I’ve never regretted it.
Through my career, I’ve been very fortunate to be exposed to every facets of the snow industry; from “lifty” to ski instructor, racing director, ski equipment supplier, lodging as well as tour and travel provider.
Today I’m retired and my passion for skiing and for the mountains carries on. Skiing, running, mountain biking and hiking keep me busy and in shape all year round.
JF, what a pleasure it was to tour the BC with you. What is the web address of your personal blog? I would love to check it out. Thomas
This is really a great opportunity to know about him though with these limited information only. But since we both love skiing, I admire him for being such an inspiration to many.
[…] we met up with Deer Valley blogger JF Lanvers and he asked me how I was doing. My answer was, “fantastic, we are skiing and looking legit!” […]
Is the a picture of Big Stick (the single blue)? It looks very familiar from that (face plant) angle.
Hi Gary,
Are you referring to the header image of the corduroy? It was taken last season but couldn’t tell you the exact run.
