Horseback Riding at Deer Valley Resort
In addition to some of the best hiking and biking trails in the area, Deer Valley’s Bald Mountain is home to beautiful horseback riding trails. Boulder Mountain Ranch has a stable in Deer Valley’s mid-mountain area and offers one-hour and two-hour scenic rides at the resort all summer long.
Find your inner cowboy or cowgirl during your visit to Utah and enjoy a true taste of the West with a guided tour through alpine meadows, aspen groves and pine forests in the mountains.
This one-hour tour departs from the Silver Lake
(mid-mountain) area and guides riders through a lush switchback trail up the
mountain, providing spectacular views of the Park City area. This trail is a
great option for every riding ability.
(Ages 6 and up, no double riding permitted.)
Opt for a longer tour and spend two hours riding to the best
view on the mountain! You will follow a forested mountain trail to the overlook
of the Jordanelle Reservoir and the Uinta Mountain Range. During the ride,
you’ll cross some of your favorite winter ski trails. Test your knowledge and
see if you can identify them covered in the grasses and wildflowers instead of
snow!

Don’t worry if you have never ridden a horse before; this is the perfect chance to finally give it a try. Rides are kept small and personable to ensure a fun and enjoyable experience for all. The experienced guides provide individualized attention and will take you through everything you need to know, both before and during the trail ride.
