Deer Valley A-Z | FIS Visa Freestyle World Cup

For over 20 years, Deer Valley® has hosted elite international competitions, including events during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Returning this year is the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, an event that has become a staple for guests and locals to come together and cheer on the athletes under the lights. All events are free to the public.

Converging at Deer Valley Resort’s Bald Eagle Mountain, the mogul events are scheduled on the Champion ski run on Wednesday, January 10 and Thursday, January 11, 2018. The aerial event will be held on the White Owl ski run on Friday, January 12, 2018, with the finals for all disciplines taking place in the evening and a fireworks display concluding each night.

Be sure to mark your calendars and grab that extra puffy jacket. The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup gets the whole town out, along with visitors, to celebrate skiers competing at the pinnacle of their sport. Learn more at deervalley.com

Unfortunately, Dual Moguls isn’t an Olympic sport so in Olympic years we do two traditional mogul events so the athletes can compete for Olympic team spots.
