Deer Valley Resort is thrilled to once again offer the Kids’ Downhill/Freeride Program this summer on Tuesday afternoons from 2 to 5 p.m., June 19 through August 21. This special program is for children who are 9 to 14 years of age and possess Intermediate level mountain biking skills and above. With a maximum of five children per mountain bike coach, children will receive personalized instruction and coaching on downhill and freeride skills, as well as a weekly report card to track their progression.

A Punch Card may be purchased for five to 10 sessions and includes a full day, all chairlifts Gold Pass. The Punch Card offers some great perks and flexibility. Participants can ride earlier in the day and enjoy the trails with their Gold Pass before the program session begins. Another benefit of the Punch Card is that once purchased, then more sessions may be added. The card will be upgraded to a higher number of sessions and the pricing will be adjusted accordingly. And, after the program ends, children can take one afternoon Kids’ Clinic at the same discounted rate as the program rate from August 22 through the end of the season.

If only one child is enrolled for an ability level, the session will last two hours rather than three. Due to scheduling circumstances, the same coach is not guaranteed for each week’s session. There are no refunds for missed sessions; unused sessions or credit may not be carried over to next year.
