Vanessa Pierce began skiing at Deer Valley just two years ago, and it instantly became one of her favorite places to ski for the steeps, pristine groomers, and all-around fun terrain. That’s a lot to say considering Vanessa has been a journalist based in some of the country’s “other” top resorts such as Aspen, Crested Butte, and Jackson Hole. She’s been published in Skiing, The Ski Journal, Powder, Outside, among many others. If she isn’t skiing or eating gourmet food at Deer Valley’s lodges, she’s writing about skiing, flying overhead in a plane (in flight school), or running her nonprofit: SheJumps.
