Growing up in sunny Queensland, Australia, Matt got a slightly late start into the world of skiing. But the bug bit hard and 18 straight winters later, the love of snow, mountains and skiing continues to grow. Matt has the fortunate life of being a Ski Patroller for a resort in Australia and then packing his bags, moving to Park City and taking up his role as a Ski Patrol Supervisor here at Deer Valley Resort. One of the biggest joys of Matt’s work is the scenic wonders of the Wasatch Mountains and the incredible beauty surrounding me each day as he goes to “work”.

Matt’s second love is capturing moments and sometimes unseen parts of the resort through the lens of his camera, which he hopes to share with you.
